Rush Creek Lodge: Stay, Help Yosemite Conservancy

Contribute to the Dollar-a-Night program and help the programs that help the park.

LITTLE THINGS? We're often told that they have a rather wonderful and predictable way of adding up, which is 100% accurate and unquibble-with. Throw enough pennies in a jar and soon you'll have money for a nice lunch out. See enough leaves on the ground and you'll finally know fall is here. And listen to a favorite song enough times? You'll be able to sing it, word-for-word, at the next office karaoke night. Likewise, staying at Rush Creek Lodge, and contributing to the Dollar-a-Night program, is a really solid path to helping Yosemite Conservancy, which in turn helps Yosemite National Park. One dollar, one night, on top of your fee to stay at the rustic, park-close getaway? It's a doable act, but one that ultimately helps bolster all of the fantastic programs that are a part of the conservancy's mission. "We inspire people to support projects and programs that preserve Yosemite and enrich the visitor experience," states the conservancy, and the enrichment is built on Yosemite mavens pitching in, an hour here, a dollar there, and all that they can for this slice of waterfall-filled, tree-packed, animal-awesome perfection.

RUSH CREEK LODGE... just joined the Yosemite Conservancy's Dollar-a-Night program, but there a number of other stately stay-over spots that are already on board. The National Hotel in Jamestown, The Redwoods of Yosemite, and nearby Evergreen Lodge are conservancy partners on the Dollar-a-Night fundraising effort, as are The Majestic Hotel and Half Dome Village. To learn more about this program, and how Yosemite Conservancy works on behalf of the national park, unhand your hiking stick, find a seat near the path, take a swig of water, and read all.
