Arts in April, an Event-Full Napa Valley Must

As the sun warms wine country, a caboodle of creative to-dos flower, too.

THERE'S EVENTFUL, as in, "well that was quite the eventful picnic!," meaning, of course, that several things happened, from your blanket nearly blowing away to the potato salad going missing. Then there's event-full, which simply means something that boasts a lot of distinct events. Which all leads to this: Arts in April, the annual month-long celebration in Napa Valley, is not only event-full, it is event-packed, giving those people who dig seeing fresh ideas, memorable canvases, spectacular sculptures, and artists aplenty plenty of chances to do so. And that event-full, or, erm, event-packed extravaganza kicks off with the fresh 'n flowery start of the fourth month. You don't need to be in...

NAPA VALLEY... on April 1, but you might quickly peruse the rundown of happenings, all to time your visit to wine country with what you'd like to enjoy. Coming up in 2019? Highlights include a Twilight Tasting + Art Show at AvinDos Winery on April 12, a Downtown Napa Poetry Walking Tour on April 19 and 20, and the Art, Sip & Stroll at Napa Valley Museum in Yountville on April 27. There are several performances, too, to enjoy, if theater and songcraft are your jam. And wine? This is the NV, so finding a fabulous glass near or at your art event will not be too taxing.
