With 30 beautiful beaches to chose from, it’s no wonder celebs and wealthy folk alike choose the ‘Bu as their number one beach hangout—when they’re not jet-setting to private islands in the Arabian Sea.
The "to do's": Among the many activities offered in one of So-Cal’s most coveted surf spots, one in particular has got us thinking: hanging with the dolphins. Rent a sit-on-top kayak at the Malibu Surf Shack and get a seafarer’s view of the coast. You’ll swing by a series of beaches, including Carbon (aka Billionaire’s) Beach.
Cost: Rent a single kayak at $20 an hour or $35 for the whole day. Grab the beach towels and hop in the car soon, though. September is considered one of the best times to go.
