Harbor and Seafood Festival: The festival’s name conjures up thoughts of freshly caught ocean-dwelling deliciousness. And that’s exactly what seafood lovers have to look forward to at the Santa Barbara Harbor. Plus 1,100 boats topped with fishermen swinging their fishy finds to waiting trucks. And it's from these trucks to your mouth--could it get any fresher? Hardly.
What a catch: Aside from the scrumptious regional seafood specialties like fresh prawns and shellfish to grilled albacore and lobster, there will be cooking demos, some under-the-sea education, boat rides, tall ship tours, live music--Spencer and the Gardener--and more.
