There are people who live for and love festivals. I am not one of them. I don't have the attention span to spend an entire day in the sun, lost among thousands of other people, shovelling out big money for any type of sustenance or thirst quencher. I also don't like being told that I can't carry stuff in my bag. If I want gum and chapstick and a camera, I'm an adult and I'll damn well do what I please, but I wouldn't be getting past security at Crssd -- and that's sad, because I've been a couple of times and they have Phantogram headlining, which is a huge get, but I'm just gonna have to let the kids have their fun. Instead, you can find me at the Casbah, where three solid acts take the stage.... Transfer keep us wondering if this reunion is the beginning of more dates or just a second chance show for people who missed their January show at the Casbah; Keuning is back; and our friends the Color Forty Nine always set the perfect tone for a fun night. Around town, Creature Canyon headline Soda Bar, Saves the Day are at Observatory and Pine Mountain Logs are at Belly Up.
