On Friday night, Moonshake at Kadan will not disappoint, with Dr. Indulgent, Bob Dazzla and Mark E Quark spinning progressive house and trance. Get there early for a special happy-hour set from Macoe, starting at 8 p.m. -- check out the Moonshake mixes to get a taste of what's in store for you. On the flip side, it's the Hickies and Dry Humps' party at El Dorado, with DJs Jay Dread, Kid Wonder, Saul Q and Otis the Buffalo playing the best and worst of the '90s. Break out your finest bling and party like its 1999.
Saturday night, join me for Club Ascension at the Kava Lounge. Tom King and yours truly have been hosting this monthly night there for more than four years. We'll be spinning the best in dark underground dance music, with special guests Ladynoir and Cybian. Plus, it's your chance to win tickets to the upcoming Nitzer Ebb show on Nov. 3 at Brick by Brick.
Wrap up your weekend with Sunday School, featuring DJs Sid Vicious and Kurch, at 207 inside the Hard Rock. Plaid skirts and knee socks will get you complimentary admission.
