I am so ready for the weekend. For many, today was the last day of school to kick off summer break, so expect to see graduates out on the town, but they're not quite of age to catch the killer lineup of music happening around town tonight. Casbah welcomes back Sebadoh, who seem to make the rounds every year or two when Lou Barlow isn't on the road with Dinosaur Jr., and costumed weirdos Mac Sabbath headline Soda Bar before embarking on a tour with the Ned Flanders-themed Okilly Dokilly. Things get mathy at the Irenic with the U.K.'s TTNG, while Jamaican reggae powerhouse Mykal Rose plays the Belly Up. It's a good night for music and after this week, a well-deserved chance to unwind.
