I'm not sure what's in the water over in London, but the amount of soulful performers with an R&B vibe that have hit the indie circuit over the past couple years with their emotive lyrics and daring falsettos is a trend I can get behind. Tonight Puma Blue makes his Casbah debut and will make the crowd swoon and sway just a little bit to the music and get enveloped in the vibe. For a different vibe, Nashville's Stoop Kids bring this retro-backed slack-rap vibe and it's super chill and pretty interesting. Tower Bar has a cool lineup, and Belly Up is sold out for the Rob Machado Foundation and the Electric Waste Band, so if you got tickets, say hi to Bill for us...he'll be in his special chair over by the soundboard.
