Jake Shimabukuro headlines the Belly Up Wednesday.

We're only halfway through the week, but post-holiday weeks always seem to drag the most, so get over the hump with some live music. 91x Loudspeaker continues to celebrate 30 years of local music with Pocket Hole at the Casbah while local musicians team up for another Death Cab for Karaoke at the Office. Uke master Jake Shimabukuro returns to town with a seated show at the Belly Up and pop-band Stal play at Soda Bar. You've got some solid options for the night, so choose wisely and leave the couch-sitting for another night.
