Sounds Like San Diego: June 24

On Monday night, the Organ Festival kicks off with a tribute to Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin

The summer solstice may have happened on Friday, but for some, the kickoff of summer happens when the Organ Festival kicks off. Over the last several years, we've seen the organ expand its horizons, and incorporating rock shows has proven to be immensely popular, in addition to being a kind of who's who of the San Diego music scene where it's impossible not to run into dozens of friends that you'd normally only see in a dark club. Tonight, they'll be presenting Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, and a bonus is that Operation: Mindblow will be handling projections, so even if you're on the outer lawns, you can still get a glimpse of the magic. Best of all, it's free and family-friendly. Around town, it's another Hip-Hop Battle Bot at the Casbah with DJ Artistic, Los Angeles dark wave duo No Exits play Soda Bar and Bar Pink offers up a free show with Ginger Cowgirl.
