It is an exceptionally great night to catch an exceptionally great band under the night sky as Guster return to San Diego with a night at Humphreys. The Boston band has been in the game for many years and have a deep catalog of hits and favorites from which to draw. Our pals in Kolars open the show, and I'm curious if Lauren will take advantage of the massive stage or keep the tap-dancing to just her bass drum. Meanwhile, the Casbah has newcomers XYLO, a dark-pop duo on their first U.S. headlining tour, while Horse Jumper of Love give new meaning to ultra-chill with their self-proclaimed "slow rock." And speaking of slow, Foghat play an intimate show at the Belly Up where you will no doubt hear their hit "Slow Ride" at lease once.
