La Escalera Fest wraps up today, and you should make a whole day of it. Grab your passport, jump on the trolley to walk across the border, then after you find some tacos or street churros, head to Moustache Bar for all of the excellent bands, and maybe order a margarita or michelada or two while you rock out. If you can't make it across the border, head to Che Cafe for Flowerfest Daytime Music Festival for a steady lineup of acts. By nightfall, catch legends Flipper at Casbah with David Yow fronting. Soda Bar has Young Wants, Tempers play at Whistle Stop, and DVSN play Humphreys Concerts by the Bay. It's a smokin' night in San Diego, so if you didn't do it up all weekend, you can make up for it all tonight.
