The Selecter, Durand Jones & the Indications and Benjamin Francis Leftwich head Wednesday's shows

The Selecter headline the first of two nights at the Casbah Wednesday.

It's already been a stellar week for music and we're only at Wednesday, but the fun continues. It should come as no surprise that the Durand Jones & the Indications show at the Belly Up sold out weeks ago but they're a band made for live shows, so I imagine they'll be back around again soon if you didn't get your hand on tickets. Meanwhile at the Casbah, the Selecter is back with two shows celebrating their 40 years as the cream of the crop of two-tone ska. Singer-songwriter Benjamin Francis Leftwich returns to town with a show at the Merrow (moved from the Irenic), Brothertiger brings synth-pop to Soda Bar, and deadheads will flock in droves to catch legend Bob Weir at Humphreys.

91x's Tim Pyles has been a two-tone ska fan forever -- the guy even used to run around town on a scooter! So 'twas no surprise that he jumped at the chance to hang with U.K. legends the Selecter at the first of their two recent Casbah shows. Watch the SoundDiego TV interview/performance now!
