Sounds Like San Diego: April 2

Dilly Dally, Vince Staples, Sasami, Morgan James and more top Tuesday night's concerts

When Dilly Dally's "Heaven" dropped last year, the album got critical praise from all the indie cool kids -- Pitchfork, the Fader, Noisey, Vulture and more --and frontwoman Katie Monk's wail is so unique you just might be consumed in the intensity. The band plays their first Casbah headlining show after having supported bands like FIDLAR and Metz. If you're looking for something a little sweeter and more introspective, LA indie singer-songwriter Sasami fits well among contemporaries like Soccer Mommy, Japanese Breakfast and Mitski. Around town, rapper Vince Staples returns to the Observatory North Park, Bort Nebulon has an elusive online presence but you can take your chances at the Merrow and hang out with 91x's Tim Pyles, or catch "New York-based soul singer, songwriter, and Broadway actress Morgan James" at House of Blues.
