Who Run the World?

If my memory serves me correctly, this is the fourth time in the past couple years that Clairo has performed in San Diego, but this time I'll actually get to see her and I can't wait for it. The 21-year-old indie pop singer has blown up on streaming services and satellite radio, and her direct support act, Beabadoobee, is supposedly already slated for Coachella 2020, so this will be a fun night of girl power for fans of all ages. Meanwhile, the darker, more gothic songstress Chelsea Wolfe performs at the Observatory, and the three sisters who make up Joseph will be at the Belly Up. And while we're at it, Bar Pink has a women-powered benefit for Planned Parenthood with Cochinas Locas headlining, so I guess we know the answer to Queen Bey when she asks, "Who run the world?" There are definitely plenty of ways to support women Friday night.
