Sounds Like San Diego: April 28

Gregory Page (the Rugburns, Jason Mraz) celebrates his birthday with a show on the Lestat's stage named after him

When I saw that Gregory Page is celebrating another birthday, it made me realize that I've known the amazing and talented singer-songwriter for more than half of my life! Through his Rugburns years and solo years and the years when we were neighbors in Kensington and the years he moved away and the time he's back. Tonight, he plays a birthday show on the stage named after him at Lestat's. Of course, there are a ton of awesome things to choose from today and tonight, including the second day of ArtWalk Little Italy -- and save yourself a headache by catching a rapid or the trolley or a rideshare there, because parking is at a premium. It's also EarthFair at Balboa Park, though honestly the more fun party is on the east side at the WorldBeat Center with their multicultural Earth Day. Tone Loc plays the Tequila and Taco Festival, White Denim slay the Belly Up and Forever Came Calling headline Blonde.
