Local radio station 91X unveiled the lineup Monday for 2010 Wrex the Halls.
The show is on Dec. 12 (a Sunday; ouch), and is at Viejas Arena on the campus of San Diego State University again this year. Fans will see local faves Switchfoot and superstars Smashing Pumpkins, Bad Religion and My Chemical Romance. Also on tap: Jimmy Eat World, Anberlin and A Day to Remember.
Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m., but a 91X listener-exclusive Internet pre-sale began on Monday at Ticketmaster.com. Listeners are being encouraged to listen to 91X on air or follow the station via Twitter or Facebook to receive a code to buy tickets first.
“Last years’ Wrex the Halls set a high bar, selling out Viejas Arena with A.F.I., Rise Against [the Machine] and Thirty Seconds to Mars, among others,” says 91X program director Garrett Capone. “We wanted to make the concert this year even bigger, and I think we delivered with an incredible lineup at an exceptional price. Dec. 12 will be a night to remember!”
