For the unfamiliar, the hip-hop superstar is kind of a big deal. After first gaining worldwide recognition for his 2010 guest spot on YG's "Toot It and Boot It," Ty Dolla $ign hasn't looked back: He dropped two mixtapes ("Beach House" and "Beach House 2") on Atlantic Records, then signed a record deal with Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records in 2013 and released his debut major label project, the "Beach House EP," the following year. In 2015, he released his first studio full-length album, "Free TC" -- which promptly hit No. 14 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Two years later, Ty dropped his sophomore album, "Beach House 3" (it debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200) with the lead singles "Love U Better" and "So Am I." 2018 found him collaborating with everyone: He guested on Christina Aguilera's "Accelerate," Kanye West's "All Mine," Kids See Ghosts' "Freeee (Ghost Town, Pt. 2)," Bhad Bhabie's "Trust Me," Beyonce and Jay-Z's "Boss," Tinashe's "Me So Bad" and Drake's "After Dark." Earlier this year, he dropped "Purple Emoji" with J. Cole, "Hottest in the City" with Juicy J and Project Pat, "Psycho" with Post Malone, and the summer's biggest hit, "Hot Girl Summer" with Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj -- he's the king of collabs!
