Looking forward to Memorial Day Weekend in San Diego, there are plenty of events to keep you busy over the next few days. Here’s a taste of what’s in store for you Friday through Saturday:
 
Thursday, Blk Owl presents the Hunt's debut and album-release show at U-31 with We Are Sirens and DJ sets from Adam Salter and Camron. Grab more info here about the show featuring the new band from Mike Cooper, formerly of Hyena. The Rosalyns, the Diddley Daddies, the Grim Imperials and Two Wolves take over the Casbah; Ilya and Life play at Seven Grand; Archons, Thrones and Cryptic Languages are at Til-Two; CityBeat presents the fifth annual TikiBeat at the Lafayette Hotel, featuring live music from Creepxotica and Ivan & the Divine Lights. Plus, get your dance on with IDGA,F featuring Sidney Samson, at Fluxx and ATB at Bassmnt.
 
On Friday, the Burning of Rome are doing a live in-store performance at Lou’s Records in Encinitas at 5 p.m.. Later that night, the band is having their album-release party at the Casbah with support from Hell or Highwater, Eukaryst and Fairy Bones. Elsewhere, Against Me headline at House of Blues; the Chris Robinson Brotherhood is sold-out at the Belly Up; Bvrgndy are at El Camino; Northern Tiger and Artifact play at the Whistle Stop; Their/They’re There headline at the Che Cafe; and you can get your hardcore on with Gang Green, Attitude Adjustment, Exile and Christ Killer at Til-Two. For your dancing fix, Michael Woods takes over Bassmnt; Bonkers are at Bar Pink; and Yo Bill + Kevin Brown are at Bang Bang
 
Saturday, Intervention features Lil Jon; and Tommy Lee & DJ Aero invade Dive Day Club at Harrah’s Resort Southern California. Later that night, more dance options for you: Club Sabbat takes over the front room of Numb3rs, with DJs Liquid Grey and yours truly; Booty Bassment hits the Whistle Stop; My Life Every Day USA presents Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Flosstradamus, Gesaffelstein, Clockwork, Tchami, Vicetone, Brazzabelle and Bixel Boys at Valley View Casino Center, aka Sports Arena; Revolv, featuring Red Sonya and Lil’ Ryan, is at the Kava Lounge; and Stafford Brothers take over Bassmnt. For your live-music fix, Matt Pond PA headline at Soda Bar; Baths, Young Fathers, and P. Morris are at the Casbah; John Meeks, Heavy Guilt Duo and El Monte Slim are at the Black Cat; Void Lake, Babes and Mittens play at the Tin Can; Karling and the Kadavers and Johnny Deadly Trio are at Tio Leo's; Hellogoodbye are at the Irenic; and the Frights headline at SOMA.
 
Get your Sunday funday on as Eric Prydz takes over Intervention; and the Rooftop600 Pool Party is at Andaz with DJ Salon Acapulco, Overjoy, Tuff Turf, Waldo, Adam Salter, Saul Q, Kimbo and Rambo. Later that night, My Life Every Day USA Day 2 features Morgan Page, Deorro, TJR, 3LAU, Caked Up, Mercer, Don Diable, Tony Junior, Mossberg Pump at Valley View Casino Center; and the Bloody Beetroots invade Bassmnt. Elsewhere, Suzanne Vega is touring as a duo with her guitarist Gerry Leonard (David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper) in support of her new album and will be at the Belly Up with support from Megan Combs; and Angelic Upstarts, Peter & the Test Tube Babies, the Generators and PSO are at Soda Bar;
