The second annual Anthology StreetBeat festival boasts a lineup of classic artists: Music fans will be getting wild with John Kay & Steppenwolf, Blue Oyster Cult and the Lowrider Band.  The whole party goes down near Anthology, spanning India Street from between Ash and A streets.

Last year’s event brought hundreds of guests to Little Italy for performances by Gomez, O.A.R., Mexican music phenomenon Ximena Sarinana and the locals of the Silent Comedy. This year’s event is scheduled a little earlier than last year’s and is sure to attract a larger crowd to Little Italy to enjoy the music, food and peak San Diego summer weather.

Tickets are $39 for general admission and $59 for reserved seating. If you desire to be treated like a Very Important Person, there are packages available for $160 that include all sorts of extra hookups. Doors open at 3 p.m. and attendees must be 21 or older to attend. Tickets can be purchased on Anthology’s website or at the venue itself.
