Stevie Nicks to Bring SD a Landslide Night

Stevie Nicks comes to Viejas Arena on March 2

It looks like the rumours are true -- Grammy Award-winning rock queen Stevie Nicks is coming to San Diego on Thursday, March 2, 2017 as part of her 24 Karat Gold Tour. Viejas Arena at SDSU will host the Fleetwood Mac singer, along with supporting band, the Pretenders.

Even though there are only eight more dates of the tour left for the year, Live Nation just announced 20 new shows to kick off the new year. With Nicks in high demand and generous show reviews pouring in, it’s not difficult to see why her North American tour is being extended.

Nicks rose to prominence when she and her boyfriend at the time, Lindsey Buckingham, joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975. Singing hits like “Dreams,” “Rhiannon” and “Landslide,” Nicks quickly became -- and remains -- the reigning queen of rock ‘n’ roll. To prove it, she has over a dozen Grammy Award nominations, a Grammy win with Fleetwood Mac and she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

The last time Nicks was in town was when Fleetwood Mac brought magic to the Viejas Arena in December of 2014. With her solo set, you can expect selections from her entire catalog -- a mix of her solo classics with fan favorites from Fleetwood Mac.

With the Pretenders and fellow rock queen Chrissie Hynde opening up the night, March 2 is already gearing up to be one of the best shows of the new year!
