Sounds Like San Diego: September 9

It's Sunday night, and after a hard weekend of soul grooves and rock & roll, it's a good night to slow things down with some sultry crooning when Pegi Young & the Survivors take the stage at the Casbah. Mrs. Young is known for performing in her husband's touring band but has talents that deserve to come out of the shadow of Neil Young's star power. With Jesse LaMonaca opening the night, it will be more of a sway with a whisky in your hand than a boot-stomping rager, but you'll be aurally pleased with the show.
