Sounds Like San Diego: September 6

Find out why one of punk music's influential bands are back for a reunion at the Casbah

Punk fans are especially excited because the Weirdos will descend on the Casbah. The band who formed in 1976 and disbanded in 1981, were considered as one of the most influential bands during punk music's first wave. They released additional material over the years, mostly reissues and compilations with an occasional tour here and there. Needless to say, Friday night will be special, just do your fellow punk rocker a favor by using deodorant under that black leather zipper jacket, won't you? I mean, it's the hottest week of the year, after all. If punk isn't your thing and you're thinking, "I wasn't even born yet!" perhaps Diatribes is more your thing over at Soda Bar, or see some great acoustic music at Lestat's.
