Sounds Like San Diego: Sept. 5

Floating Points treat Belly Up to a full band performance

Labor Day used to be the unofficial end of summer, as it was somewhat of a last hurrah before kids returned to school. Now with local colleges, San Diego Unified and other school districts adopting earlier start dates, Labor Day is more like a reprieve from the daily grind. Find your fun around town today, and then head to the Belly Up for Floating Points. Typically known for a DJ-style performance, this iteration will include a full band playing their unique blend of jazz and EDM. Around town, catch '80s at the Brass Rail with Junior theDISCOpunk, Neutral Shirt is at Che Cafe and the Fictitious Dishes and others join up for a matinee post-Awesome Fest show at Tower Bar.
