It's Thursday in San Diego and you've got a Wainwright, a Beatle, and a Bey to occupy the night. Loudon Wainwright III returns to the Belly Up while Ringo Starr plays another sold-out show at Humphreys. Meanwhile, Beyonce and Jay-Z are singlehandedly keeping local stagehands busy with three days of setup and breakdown around their massive show tonight at SDCCU Stadium. For some of us, however, there's no place like the Casbah, where SoundDiego photographer Tim Fears celebrates his 40th with a killer local lineup, including his own new band, Shoot the Glass. It's gonna be a doozy with Miss New Buddha headlining the night, so if you're really looking for a party, that's your spot tonight.
