There are an insane amount of shows tonight and with them, numerous reasons to get off the couch and out of the house on this humpday. At the Casbah, catch London quartet the Boxer Rebellion, whose sweet songs and cathartic lyrics will move you. Meanwhile, alternative-blues act Houndmouth perform at the Observatory North Park with one of my favorites, Family of the Year, opening the show. British singer-songwriter Ben Howard is at SDSU's Open Air Theatre with the beautiful Wye Oak opening the night while Pine Mountain Logs and Venice close out the season of Green Flash concerts at Birch Aquarium. Boz Scaggs, Deep Purple, and Dave Mason all join in Wednesday night opportunities, so pick the show that's right for you and put a little music in your heart.
