Sounds Like San Diego: September 23

I spend a lot of time talking about new music and the next cool indie band rolling through town, but Sunday is definitely a throwback night. First, legendary singer/songwriter and actor Kris Kristofferson performs at the Belly Up. With a career that has spanned more than 40 years, seeing Kristofferson in the intimacy of the Belly Up is certainly going to be a special treat. Another great show will summon you to the far northeast corner of the county, to Harrah's Rincon Casino. Daryl Hall and John Oates of legendary group Hall & Oates reunite to perform their hits. The yacht-rockers have been loved for decades, and with the success of Darryl Hall's web series, "Live From Darryl's House," it appears their careers have been given a bit of a bump. Why see your drunk friends slay a Hall and Oates oldie at karaoke when you can see and hear the real thing live?
