Sounds Like San Diego: September 2

"Trojans" hitmakers Atlas Genius play House of Blues Wednesday

On Wednesday, San Diego gets back into a groove with so many options for live music that your head might even spin a little bit. For starters, Atlas Genius returns to town [read SoundDiego's interview with frontman Keith Jeffery here]. Last in San Diego for X-Fest, the band takes the headlining spot at House of Blues, which will no doubt be full of energy and a crowd fully engaged with these hitmakers and tastemakers. Down the street, Portland's Divers take the lead at Casbah, while Millencolin shred at the Observatory North Park. Soda Bar has a solid lineup with Mynabirds and Decker., who for some reason have a period in their name. Brawley host another Barroom Ball at Belly Up, and Ugly Lovers get down at Che Cafe. Plenty of awesome shows to get you through the midweek hump.
