Sounds Like San Diego: Sept. 19

Seratones put on a rollicking good show at the Casbah

Does anyone still call Monday "industry night" -- a night for service industry folks who worked all weekend to really let loose? If so, tonight is quite a party night. At the Casbah, check out Seratones: "In their mix of soulful grease and punky grit, Seratones feel like a natural, rollicking complement to the Alabama Shakes," says Pitchfork. Quite the compliment from music's snarkiest site. Meanwhile, in North Park, What So Not bring Australian electronic music to the Observatory, while local pop-punk outfit Alive & Well play at Soda Bar. That's a pretty hot Monday if you need to get out of the house and party your ass off.
