Sounds Like San Diego: September 14

If you're not heading to Kaaboo Del Mar Friday, catch Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears at the Casbah

Today kicks off the 2018 edition of Kaaboo Del Mar, and for the first time in its young history, the event is completely sold out. That includes VIP, three-day wristbands, and single-day individual tickets. So literally thousands of San Diegans and visitors will be invading Del Mar for the event with greats like Foo Fighters, Blondie, and Jimmy Eat World topping our lists (read our official Friday Kaaboo itinerary here). If you didn't score your tickets, however, or if festivals just aren't your thing, there are some sick shows for your enjoyment, too. Austinite Black Joe Lewis is back with the Honeybears at the Casbah. The band always sells out, but there are still some limited tickets you should grab online so you're not turned away at the door. If you need something more soothing to your ears, catch ATO recording artist Rayland Baxter at the Belly Up along with our friends Trouble in the Wind. I think it's gonna be a good night if you can just find that show that speaks to you.
