I can't deny that every time Fitz & the Tantrums return to town I get excited, even if I can't make it to every specific show. I get excited because everyone who ever sees the band becomes a fan, and part of that is because the band really took the time early in their career to make San Diego feel like their home away from home. In fact, there are few venues in this town that they haven't played. Tonight, the band joins OneRepublic and James Arthur at Mattress Firm Amphitheatre in Chula Vista. Around town, gothic-industrial electronic project Aesthetic Perfection bring the Sabbat crowd to Casbah, Led Zepagain play Belly Up, and bass virtuoso Thundercat returns to the Observatory.
