Sounds Like San Diego: Oct. 9

Mellow out with a seated show from Hawaiian soft rockers Kalapana

Tonight offers an eclectic selection of shows if you're feeling the urge to get out for live music. The Belly Up hosts a seated show with Hawaii's soft rockers Kalapana and slack guitarist Makana. At Soma, metalcore act Between the Buried and Me hopes to fill the house with multi-generational fans, and Pitchfork-described "emo rap alchemist" Lil Peep plays at House of Blues. Around town, Soda Bar hosts Canadian metal act Cauldron, locals Chill Clinton rock the mic at the Casbah and "root folk punker" Greg Rekus plays Tower Bar.
