Sounds Like San Diego: October 7

Congratulations to all the nominees and winners at the San Diego Music Awards last night. May you all have a speedy recovery as the music rocks on Wednesday with Japan's awesome rockers, Shonen Knife, at the Casbah. These ladies have been touring for years now and recently played their 1,000th show. True veterans of the road, they always deliver a blistering set. With Death Valley Girls, the Rosalyns and the Touchies on the bill, ladies rule the night. Meanwhile, up at the Belly Up, Justin Townes Earl returns with his country-folk-Americana crooning. The son of legend Steve Earle, Justin has proven that the music is in his blood and will certainly deliver a captivating set.
