Sounds Like San Diego: Oct. 6

Big names and local loves alike play across San Diego on Tuesday

Do you understand that it is a random Tuesday in October and at your fingers are a dozen amazing concerts? For one, I don't think that Beirut has ever been to San Diego, so the fact they're at the Open Air Theatre is kind of a big deal, and their new album, "No, No, No," is so super great that this will be a perfect night outdoors now that all the rain is clear. Meanwhile, the Fratellis return for some fun at the House of Blues, and Mod God Paul Weller will bring all the scooter clubs out to the Observatory. Gregg Allman is already sold out at the Belly Up, but there are still some tickets for Garbage at Humphrey's. Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the local lineup at the Casbah, especially because it is one of headliner Gayle Skidmore's last in San Diego before she moves to the Netherlands (plus, she just won a San Diego Music Award! Check out our coverage of the SDMAs here). If you can't find something amazing with all this on Tuesday, I really don't know how we can help you.
