I was wondering why Halloween has become a holiday -- if it is that -- that's more for adults than kids, and got to thinking that since the '90s, children weren't really allowed to go on their own for trick-or-treating and explore the ghoulish nights because somewhere along the line we were convinced that it was too dangerous. The result, then, is adults going berserk over festivities that really didn't exist back in the day. This year is no exception for grownups; there are so many choices for events parties, and live music, but on this night, SoundDiego would love for you to come trick-or-treat with us at the Office for this month's installment of SoundDiego Live. We'll have a costume contest with some great prizes, amazing local bands and, of course, a hosted happy hour presented by Jack Daniel's. We'll wrap it up early, too, so whether you have to work in the morning or this is just your first stop before catching bands like Transfer at the Casbah or Rocket From the Crypt at House of Blues, we'll get you set up for a great night.
