In light of Alice Glass' scathing accusations of Crystal Castles' Ethan Kath that dropped yesterday, it seemed cruel and tortuous to have her Tuesday night show followed by a Crystal Castles Wednesday night show, so regardless of who made the call to cancel the tour, I hope Alice gets some peace without feeling like she's being trailed. There are still plenty of shows to get your Wednesday night going in the right direction. At House of Blues, legendary mod and the Jam frontman Paul Weller performs, while Delicate Steve charms Soda Bar with his playful instrumentals. The Casbah welcomes Russian experimental act Messer Chups and former "American Idol" contestant Hailey Reinhart shows her chops at Belly Up. For the country fans of San Diego, Luke Bryan headlines Mattress Firm Amphitheatre for their final concert of the season.
