Sounds Like San Diego: October 20

Our friends over at San Diego CityBeat recently posted an extensive readers' poll asking for the best of everything in San Diego, from popular categories like Best Pizza to Best Music Venue to some more challenging categories like Best Tattoo Artist and Best Strip Club. We're pleased to report that SoundDiego won for Best Local Music Blog, with sdDialedin and OwlandBear picking up honorable mentions in the same category.

CityBeat has compiled the results in this week's edition and are celebrating all the winners and losers at a huge party at the W Hotel. The party is free, though there is a $10 suggested donation for the San Diego Music Foundation, and there will be food tastings and a stellar lineup of local music to get you grooving as you sashay from the Living Room to the Beach and back again. Expect to see your favorite chefs, bartenders, bands, local business owners -- and local music bloggers -- at this open-to-the-public celebration of the best that San Diego has to offer.
