There are certain songs that you hear on the radio -- or in this case, on satellite radio -- and they just capture you. Such was the case the first time I heard "Edge of Town" by Middle Kids. I wasn't the only one (obviously), and the Aussie group has garnered tons of attention since appearances at SxSW earlier this year and the release of a Blink-182 cover for Amazon. If you're the kind of person that wants to see the next big thing before they're in a big venue, you want to check out Middle Kids at the Casbah. Of course, there is a lot of talent in town tonight, so I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you that critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Chelsea Wolfe is playing at the Belly Up, Philly's Sheer Mag rock Soda Bar and pop-punkers Four Year Strong play an all-ages show at the Irenic.
