For most people, Mondays can really suck. Fortunately, if you can make it through the workday, the reward is just on the other side as music comes alive in San Diego. Head to SDSU's Open Air Theatre for the amazing sounds of My Morning Jacket, who are a great and prolific band when it comes to recording, but who really shine in their live performances. Meanwhile, Heartless Bastards return to town for what is always an awesome show, this time at the Belly Up. The Griswolds play at the Loft at UCSD, while Casbah keeps it local for Anti-Monday League, and Soda Bar goes death metal with Immortal Bird.
