Sounds Like San Diego: October 17

Café Tacvba headlines the Observatory for the first for two nights in San Diego

Sometimes even Monday has a case of the Mondays, but Tuesday really wants to kick Monday to the curb and tonight offers up some amazing shows. At the Observatory, one of the biggest alternative-rock bands in the Spanish-speaking world is Café Tacvba, and tonight they kick off the first of two nights. Be sure to get there for openers, Grammy-nominated Flor de Toloache, an all-female mariachi band. At House of Blues, Austin psych-rockers the Black Angels return to town, while songstress Torres performs at the Casbah. I'm not quite sure where I'll end up tonight, but it feels pretty nice to have some wide open options.
