Sounds Like San Diego: Oct. 1

This month is kicking off with so many great shows that it's hard to believe it's only Wednesday. Reagan Youth will be shredding at Brick By Brick, Future Age destroy at the Merrow and even the reggae lovers have some fun with Katchafire at the Belly Up. And that's not to mention the always-incredible Ben Kweller at the Casbah, which is certain to be a killer intimate show. Still, I have to give the night's pick to Bombay Bicycle Club at SOMA. For one, the band is awesome, and when it last played at the Belly Up, it was a great but abbreviated show. But beyond that, Wednesday at SOMA is an all-ages show and promises to be a fun night with openers Milo Greene and Luxley kicking things off.
