Beer Week is in full effect.
Today you should head down to Liberty Station where the San Diego Brewers Guild kicks off by joining forces with FM 94/9 for a massive beer and food tasting event rolled into the radio station's anniversary party, featuring some great live music.
After your afternoon of beer and music bliss, save some energy to catch The Parlotones at the Casbah. The band, hailing from South Africa, performed in the opening ceremony of the World Cup with millions of eyeballs watching, so to think they'll be playing the 225 capacity Casbah is a rare chance to be up close to a band that has already broken on a large scale.
