Sounds Like San Diego: November 3

Halloween was such a tease, it made the week drag on, so for a lot of us, the weekend couldn't get here quick enough. I, for one, am super excited about a grip of shows this weekend, I only hope I can make it work to hop around to catch more than just one a night. While the B-52s are sold out for their second night at the Belly Up, the Black Heart Procession kick off their first of two nights at the Casbah, and after seeing some footage from their tour, it's going to be amazing. If you're looking for a night of outlaw country, the Observatory is the spot with the Devil Makes 3 and Scott H. Biram, and for your fill of surf-punk and surf-pop, the Frights and Hockey Dad play SOMA. Don't leave Soda Bar out of your considerations, however, because Whiskey Shivers are going to bring the full-on foot-stompin' party like only an Austin band can.
