I've got to confess, crossover genres never did much for me. While I know bands who have done it or can currently pull it off, they're few and far between. For some reason, however, when it comes to bands mixing genres AND languages, I'm kinda all in. San Diego has been scoring some pretty huge gets lately when it comes to rock en Espanol, so you're on a roll if you get to see Molotov tonight at the Observatory. The band has been busy being awesome since the mid-'90s, and they dropped their first record in three years earlier this year. Catch them if you can. Meanwhile, at the Belly Up, Dhani Harrison, son of that Harrison, makes an appearance, while Casbah has a local lineup featuring Almost Monday. It's also the end of the month, which means another Under Cover at the Office -- this time with local musicians playing their favorites of Duran Duran's catalog.
