I hope everyone had their fill of turkey and associated foods -- turkey soup, turkey sandwiches, turkey tacos -- but it's time to get back out for some local music. If you're in North County or can get there with ease, the Paragraphs and Trouble in the Wind are certain to pack a one-two punch at the Flying Elephant, while the Soda Bar gets down and dirty, with Coda Reactor and the Gore Horsemen heading up a lineup that also includes Hit Dog Hollar and the Last Years. If you find that you keep going to support the same local bands over and over and need some new blood, Soda Bar is the lineup for you. Locals Unwritten Law come home for a show at the House of Blues, while Inspired Flight head up a night of music that will fuze rock, jazz and spoken-word. Really, you can't go wrong finding some great locals in your local watering hole. Relax with friends and family, and enjoy some of the newer sounds of San Diego's scene.
