I feel like I say this every time Diarrhea Planet comes to town: terrible band name, amazingly mind-blowing band. Although, after this crap year we've had politically, maybe they just had incredible foresight in their name. The band is at Soda Bar with Mt. Pleasant, featuring members of New Mexico/Apes of Wrath, so that is an exciting prospect worth checking out. Boris and Torche are sold out at Casbah and Mild High Club are sold out at the Irenic, but you still have a chance to see local legends the Zeros at Til-Two Club, the Expendables at Belly Up, or Mayhem at the Observatory. It's a pretty fantastic night of music so you should definitely get out for some good times leading into Thanksgiving week.
