Sounds Like San Diego: November 1

I cannot believe it is already November! Time flies when you're having fun, and that fun isn't stopping anytime soon. Tonight you have ex-Sleater-Kinney members in Wild Flag who will be taking over the Casbah with one of my favorite newer bands, Drew Grow and the Pastors' Wives. Before that, however, I'll be swinging by Anthology for The Barr Brothers. When everything you read and hear about a band compares them to the Avett Brothers, you probably have a winner, and after getting into their release, the comparisons are spot on and I'm looking forward to hearing the band in the clarity of sound provided by Anthology's stage.
