If you love pure rock & roll, Friday night is your night. With bands like the Midnight Rivals at the Whistle Stop and the Loons at Tin Can, you can't go wrong. If you lean psychedelic, check out A Scribe Amidst the Lions over at Eleven. With a recent lineup shakeup, the band is definitely one to watch in 2012. And for those of you my age and older (*ahem*), you'll certainly appreciate the return of Big Sandy and His Flyrite Boys, who bring a whole lotta rock with appropriate doses of rockabilly, country and swing to merit a good old-fashioned dance party.
