A Cinco de Mayo Bronx Party

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with some of the most raucous party music around

It's Cinco de Mayo, which naturally gives us an excuse to party, and there are plenty of events around town tonight to make that happen. Roots Factory is hosting a dance party and art show at the Casbah, El Dorado hosts "Azucar Live" with a variety of DJs, and Agua Dulce gets down in the early evening at Winston's. But undeniably, the place to be tonight is the Belly Up to catch Mariachi El Bronx. When the punk band the Bronx decided to perform as mariachis, I don't think anyone could have predicted what a hit they would be, and with local ties to the band in Ray Suen and Ken Mochikoshi-Horne, San Diego loves this band. You can be sure this is going to be a raucous night and one you'll be talking about for a long time to come.
