Sounds Like San Diego: May 31

There's so much going on this weekend, but we've got you covered. You can start your Saturday by enjoying the perfect weather while perusing vendors and checking out a number of bands at Solana Beach's annual Fiesta del Sol. The event is free and runs all day, and we think you should make sure to check out Trouble in the Wind in the early afternoon. By night, House star Hugh Laurie brings his band to the Balboa Theatre, Blackalicious perform at the Belly Up, and Kill Holiday join up with I*Wish*I for a sick show at Soda Bar. Last, we know there's no shortage of karaoke around San Diego, and several venues even have live-band karaoke, but Saturday's Punk Rock Karaoke at the Casbah is the original, featuring members of NOFX, Bad Religion and Agent Orange, among others. They have a song list and you can jump on stage and front the band. Anything can happen which almost guarantees it will be a pretty awesome night.
